A QR CODE ON THE MACHINE
- The operator scans it, completes the pre operation checklist, and signs. No app, no account, no training.
- It works for a subcontractor's operator who has never heard of your company.
- In English or Spanish, chosen by whoever is holding the phone.
- The record keeps the hour meter reading, the inspector's name and company, the photographs, the signature, and the federal standard the checklist was built from.
MACHINES, TRACKED PROPERLY
- A register per job across 14 types, including excavators, loaders, water trucks, street sweepers, forklifts, aerial and scissor lifts, cranes and scaffold.
- Make, model, serial and unit number, a photograph, who owns it and who is operating it, and the rental return date where it is rented.
- Inspection frequency set per machine, starting from the federal baseline for that type.
- A code can be reissued if a sticker is lost or a machine changes hands.
THE CHECKS THAT GET MISSED
- A failed item records the action taken, the date it was corrected and who corrected it. A red item does not simply sit there.
- The scan records where it happened and how far that was from the job, and flags an inspection logged away from the site.
- A machine idle for a day is marked as not used, so an empty day is an answer rather than a gap.
- Alerts when equipment on an active job has not been checked, and a summary every Friday.
WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT
